Digital Electronic Lab Sessions
Introduction to electrical circuits
In this series of labs, students will learn about electrical current. Using batteries that supply voltage, wires that guide current, and loads such as lights and resistors, students are introduced to Ohms Law.
Lab overview...
- Batteries and lamps
- Conductors and switches
- Diodes and current limiting resistors
- Capacitors
- Electromagnets and relays
- Transistors
- Logic circuits
Logic Gates

In this series of labs, you will use an integrated board that provides powered logic ICs with easy-to-use inputs, outputs and cross connects. Input and output signals have LEDs with current limiting resistors.
Lab overview...
- AND & OR gates
- NAND & NOR gates
- DeMorgan's Law
- Multiplexor
- Adders
